Rock Tech Lithium Secures Long-Term Offtake Agreement and Prepayment Facility for Georgia Lake Project

Rock Tech Lithium announced the signing of a binding offtake agreement with Geneva-based commodity trading house Transamine SA. This agreement guarantees a long-term commercial pathway for the full planned production of lithium from the Georgia Lake project in Ontario. The deal also includes a prepayment facility of up to US$80 million, which will provide financial support for the project's development. The agreement ensures that Rock Tech can process Ontario lithium into battery-grade chemicals at its planned Red Rock Lithium processing facility, preserving its ability to supply the growing electric vehicle and battery markets. The Georgia Lake project is a key part of Rock Tech's strategy to establish a domestic lithium supply chain in Canada, aligning with increasing demand for sustainable and locally sourced battery materials.
