Strive, Inc. has added 21 Bitcoin to its treasury, bringing its total holdings to 19,921 BTC, according to an SEC filing. The recent purchase was made between July 13 and July 17 at an average price of approximately $63,221 per coin, totaling around $1.3 million. This purchase slightly increased the company's Bitcoin holdings from 19,900 BTC. Concurrently, Strive's cash and cash equivalents grew by $3.3 million to $157.4 million as of July 17.

The company funds its Bitcoin acquisitions through perpetual preferred equity, which provides a strategic advantage against forced sales. Strive's CEO, Matthew Cole, has emphasized the company's aggressive buying stance, pledging to continue accumulating Bitcoin 'hand over fist.' The firm’s growth in Bitcoin holdings is partly driven by its merger and acquisition activities, including the integration of Semler Scientific, which added over 12,000 BTC to its treasury.

Despite the recent purchases, Strive reported a loss of $393 million in the first half of the year, primarily due to accounting treatments related to its Bitcoin holdings and share issuance. The company aims for a long-term strategy, targeting a $4.2 billion war chest to fund further Bitcoin acquisitions. Its approach involves issuing shares into the open market and converting proceeds into Bitcoin rapidly, increasing exposure while managing dilution.

As one of the top ten public companies holding Bitcoin, Strive's accumulation reflects ongoing institutional interest in Bitcoin as a treasury asset. The firm's strategy and recent purchases contribute to the broader narrative of corporate Bitcoin adoption and accumulation.
