Hennes joins from KPMG LLP, where he was a managing director, and has previously worked at Promontory Financial Group for 15 years, leading its Capital Markets Practice for the Americas. His expertise includes advising on governance, risk, compliance, enforcement, and crypto assets.
Chairman Michael S. Selig highlighted Hennes's experience with crypto assets and prediction markets, emphasizing its importance for adapting the CFTC's rules to emerging financial innovations.
