Starting August 22, 2026, the World Humanoid Robot Games 2026 in Beijing have showcased robots capable of performing complex tasks autonomously. More than 40% of the competitions focus on robots executing real-world scenarios such as connecting cables, warehouse operations, cargo transportation, restaurant and office service, and emergency response. On the first day, robots achieved record speeds, surpassing human performance in 100-meter and 400-meter sprints. The emphasis is on their ability to recognize objects, determine positions, select appropriate actions, and correct errors independently, without human intervention.
